Love, maybe next life

The day I got engaged, was also the day I got a message from my big crush, after being m.i.a for around 2 years. We started talking, he told me he was at the other side of the world. At some point, he asked me whether I was already married or not. So I told him, I'd broken up with me previous BF, around 2 years ago (!) and that I've found someone else and just got engaged. He first blamed me for not contacting him when I was single again, then he asked me if I'm really happy now. I said yes, I am. What he then said, was beyond my imagination. He asked me not to marry my fiance. I was stunned. For years, he and I had been trying, never did it work out. I just felt it was too late, and decided to let him go. Now he asked me not to get married with the best guy in the world? At that point, I realised I had no feelings for my big crush anymore, which felt so great. After all those years, my heart finally fully belongs to one person, and I'm going to get married to him.
